Next time you’re in your local boozer remember these tips, you’ll be favourited by all the staff and may eventually get some local’s discountDespite it not being necessary, don’t order Guinness last 

  1. Don’t say I didn’t order a mister whippy, when the beer is clearly lively (and will get topped up)
  2. Do be friendly and patient when were busy 
  3. Don’t tell us how nice it is outside whilst were sweating behind the bar, and can see the sunshine 
  4. If were serving someone waving a card at us will not get you any quicker service 
  5. If your go to beer isn’t on or we don’t stock it, don’t blame the staff 
  6. Don’t question the measure ‘that doesn’t look like a double’, there’s a weights and measures act in public houses, you’re not free pouring in your kitchen right now.
  7. Greet us back don’t just state your order in return to ‘hi how are you doing’ 
  8. Do not EVER snap your fingers to get our attention
